Iroquois Valley is a real estate investment trust (REIT) that has provided investors with direct exposure to certified organic, regenerative farmland since 2007, primarily through leased and mortgaged farmland. Our attorneys serve as outside general counsel for Iroquois Valley, supporting state and federal securities law reporting and compliance, corporate governance management, contract negotiation, and internal policy development and management. Among other things, we have helped Iroquois Valley more than double its investor base to 950+ accredited and non-accredited investors, more than double its total assets and portfolio size to over $125 million through the sale of equity and debt offerings, and navigate a wide range of ongoing legal projects and crises, including the COVID pandemic, transition to the next generation of senior leadership, and continually push for best practices and leadership in the farm finance and B-Corp communities.
